Fluoroaliphatic Carpet & Upholstery Protectant

The improved MASURF FP-815 CP is characterized as a 16% active fluoroaliphatic polyacrylate fluoropolymer in a water/glycol solution. MASURF FP-815 CP is an effective Carpet and Upholstery Protectant with exceptional soil release and dry soil resistance, now with even better dry soil resistance.

MASURF FP-815 CP is a new generation, concentrated fluoroaliphatic water and oil repellent finish optimized to provide superior performance and durability. MASURF FP-815 CP is designed specifically for protecting nylon, polyester, wool and acrylic carpeting and upholstery. MASURF FP-815 CP imparts exceptional soil release performance, dry soil resistance with water & oil repellency.

Determine the desired performance by diluting MASURF FP-815 CP in water 1:15-1:30 (1 Part Concentrate: 15-30 Parts Water) and apply to carpeting, upholstery and other fabrics or surfaces at 1 Gallon/200-400 sq.ft. coverage. Allow to Dry/Cure at ambient temperature, overnight.

Safe Handling Information

Wear safety glasses with side shields or goggles to avoid eye contact. Wear appropriate gloves to avoid skin contact. In operations where mists, vapors, or fumes are generated, wear a respirator selected by a technically qualified person for the specific work to avoid inhalation. Suitable ventilation must be used during application. Based on properties displayed by similar materials, the fluoroaliphatic component of this product, if dispersed as a fine particle, may have the potential to induce a pneumonia-like condition.

In spray applications, use a coarse spray device such as a trigger sprayer or pressurized dispenser with particle size production of greater than 15 microns. Adjust spray pressure to keep particle size greater than 15 microns. Do not aerosolize or atomize.
