Cocoalkylmethyl PEG-15 Ammonium Methosulfate

MAQUAT C-15MS is a chloride free 95% active cocoalkylmethyl PEG-15 ammonium methosulfate. With it's unique anti-static, dispersing, hydrotrope, solubilizing and anionic compatible foaming properties, C-15MS is a unique multifunctional product for use in wide range of products including: electroplating bath formulations, textile anti-stats, water based degreasers, vehicle cleaners and household cleaners.

Cationic surfactants have a multitude of uses. Use MAQUAT C-15MS as a grease cutting emulsifier in Degreasers, Pine Oil and d-Limonene Cleaners, and a road film breaking anti-stat in Vehicle Cleaners. Use as an anti-stat in Textile processing operations, and as an emulsifier in formulated Sanitation Products. Other applications include Corrosion Inhibitors, Pipeline Drag Reducers, Rheology Modifiers, Organoclay Suspensions and Personal Care products from Haircare Conditioners to Skincare Lotions.

Use MAQUAT C-15MS as a grease cutting emulsifier in Degreasers, Pine Oil and d-Limonene Cleaners, and a road film breaking anti-stat in Vehicle Cleaners. Use as an anti-stat in Textile processing operations, and as an emulsifier in formulated Sanitation Products. MAQUAT C-15MS functions as an oily soil and particulate soil dispersing agent to impart superior no-touch performance for water based vehicle cleaners, as the formulation below illustrates:

Procedure:
Charge materials into water with agitation in order.
Use at 2-4 ounces per gallon.

In this simple, yet effective Vehicle Wash formulation, sodium metasilicate pentahydrate (Na Metasilicate 5H2O) provides alkalinity, and tetrasodium ethylenediamine tetraacetate (Na4 EDTA, 38%) is important for Hard Water performance and rinsability. Na4 EDTA can be replaced, where allowed, with trisodium nitrilotriacetate (Na3 NTA) or other effective chelating agents. Tomodol 91-6 is a penetrating, controlled foam surfactant, and MAQUAT C-15MS provides anti-static wetting and particulate soil dispersion for no-touch cleaning performance.
