Mild - High Foaming Surfactant Concentrate
 
 

MACAT AEC alcohol ether carboxylates are unique multi-functional surfactants with the common attributes of mildness and hypochlorite stability. MACAT AEC-126 is a 90% active material, shipped as the free acid, for neutralization into a range of products and applications. Performance can be tailored as a function of pH. Under acidic conditions, AEC-126 functions as a nonionic, under alkaline conditions AEC-126 functions as a hard water tolerant anionic.

MACAT AEC-126 is recommended for all applications where mildness, efficient foaming, wetting and detergency is critical, including shampoos, 2 in 1 conditioning shampoos, hand soaps, liquid dish and liquid laundry formulations. Use AEC-126 in high foaming anionic systems for mildness and oil solubilization. Take advantage of the hypochlorite stability of AEC-126 in the formulation of efficient shower and bath cleaners.

MACAT AEC-126 is readily biodegradable, non-VOC and easy to handle.

MACAT AEC-126 is a 90% active alcohol ether carboxylate surfactant, shipped as the free acid, for neutralization into a range of products and applications.

When formulated into Personal Care products, MACAT AEC-126 is a mild, high foaming co-surfactant that imparts detergency with non-tacky skin-feel. The formulation below illustrates this effect.
